What’s In A Name?

I’m not as clued up as a should be on world politics but I noticed today that the British Consulate-General in Jerusalem is called Richard Makepeace.

Not since the birth of Bob the Builder has a person’s career been so predetermined.

UPDATE: After posting this on Facebook, the following people were also pointed out to me.

Lord Justice Laws – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Laws_(judge)

Hans Lineweaver – Who has a graph (the Lineweaver-Burk Plot) named after him.

UPDATE 2: Apparently the head of Waitrose is called Mark Price, presumably he started out stacking shelves.
