Inside Our Autistic Minds
Since sharing his own autism diagnosis, wildlife presenter Chris Packham has been contacted by hundreds of autistic people who are frustrated that the non-autistic people in their lives, and the wider world in general, don’t yet understand the complexities of autism.
In this two-part documentary, Chris works with four autistic people and takes a deep dive into their minds, immersing himself in their everyday experiences, observing and learning about the ways they sense and interact with the world. Together with leading animators, composers and creatives, he helps them bring their interior worlds to life in a set of deeply personal films. At the end of each programme these are shared with friends, colleagues and loved ones, with the intention of enabling the people around them to see life as they do.
